Today, users can narrow their search by any combination of Active, Abandoned and Expired in conjunction with their search. PatentMonkey.com’s team analyzed the payment status and expiration dates on millions of patents and found that close to half a million patents in the past twenty years have been abandoned while millions of patents have already expired. Utilizing our proprietary algorithms, we process numerous factors on each patent to determine and provide up to date patent status information.
